The covering that electrical wires are hidden in is referred to as the conduit. When electrical wires must be outside of your house or workplace, these are used. They add another layer of protection for the wires and people nearby from harm. Conduit is also used when internal access to walls isn’t possible, like on the lower floor of a two-storey house.
